PowerBoss Parts - The first vacuum cleaners were invented during the 1860's. Luckily, floor cleaning devices and scrubbers have significantly changed ever since then. Daniel Hess created the original carpet sweeper in Iowa, USA. His model had a rotating brush together with an intricate system of bellows located on top to generate suction.
